Acer Nitro 5 (2018) is
a sub-$ 1,000 gaming laptop with a solid media graphics card, a part of rapid
overall performance and ports. Despite a big disappointment - a frustrating
display - the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050-equipped machine is a solid value for
casual gamers.
Design
Accessor Nitro 5 is far from the flashyest gaming laptop that
comes through our office, it plays the same conservative red-and-black scheme
as the previous one.
When I opened the lid of Nitro 5, the first thing is red
keyboard text and red trim around its touchpad. The design details are combined
neatly by a red hinge to connect to the body display. Color pop splashes on top
of a black chassis. If you carry a Chrome bag or listen to Bits headphones,
this laptop will fit properly with your other gear. Whatever, the Acer logo on
the lid is red-red rather shiny black.
The only other features that separate the design of nitro 5 are
some interesting geometry. At the top of the display, the little corners form a
weird shape hexazone, which is not unlike what you find in the all-machine
machine. It does not serve any purpose, but it looks pretty cool.
Acer Nitro 5 made of plastic but its build quality seems
difficult. The display seems strong in the hing, and I did not notice any
keyboard flakes

15.4 x 10.5 x 1.1-inch Nitro 5 is not a federate but your
current gaming session will not be a burden. At 5.14 pounds, it is lighter than
both Asus TUF Gaming FX504 (5.14 lbs) and Dell G315 (5.18 lbs) and MSI GL 62 M
7REX (5.3 lbs).
Port
For a budget machine, there are plenty of nitro 5 ports. On the
right you will find 3.5mm headphone / mic combo jack, two USB 2.0 ports and a
power port.

3.1 (yes, it will total four USB), get a Gigabit Ethernet and a Canonington
lock.
Display
Unfortunately, the 15.6-inch Mac IPS display of Asher Nitro 5 is
a big letdown. For the upcoming science-fiction action film, I saw the trailer,
then the colors looked dull and useless and the Lab's results were not even
better.
Web pages like Amazon and The New York Times have become very
hot in this panel. Fortunately, the white balance was greatly improved after
dialing red and green tones using the Windows 10 color calibration software.
In a positive note, the images appeared sharp on the 1920 x 1080
resolution panel. I can see different textures on Ryan Gosling's spaceside in
the upcoming biography film First Man Trailer. I had no problem reading small
text on some of my favorite news sites. It was even in bright light, because
the Matt panel of Nitro 5 reflects the miraculous work it performs.
Depending on our testing, the display of Nitro 5 can be
reproduced only by 69 percent of the SRGB color variant. The weak result is
less than the entry-level gaming average (92 percent) and less than half of the
MSI GL 62M7REX (153 percent) achievement.

The display of nitro 5
is reasonably bright, reaching 257. It is two times more than the average of
budget-gaming division and MSI GL 62 M7REX is much brighter, which has reached
only the brightness level of 198 points.
Audio
Although the Speaker of Asher Nitro 5 is powerful enough to fill
a medium-sized room, you will not want to set them above 80 percent. I got
together to create a painful torture after hearing the most volume of
"Horror Story" of the "Woodpeel". At least I did not hear
any distortion, how much I cranked!

Keyboards and touchpad
In the nitro 5, the red backlit keyboard with a pad of 1.6 mm is
the main journey, we consider the norm (1.5 mm to 2 mm) in the range. But it
did not create its soft, Spanish feeling, which eventually hit the overall
typing experience. And when the keyboard is pleasantly cool, it lacks a
favorite, responsive reaction like gaming.
Although it does not fit my personal preferences, the keyboard
of Nitro 5 does not slow me down. I scored 10 decimal 10 seconds and typed 10
minutes 95.3 percent. That's just a little faster for my average speed and even
accuracy.
Although the keyboard is pleasing, it is a favorite opinion
during the gaming, lack of touch response.
I have spread it on the left offset, nitro 5 to the 4.1 x 3 inch

Gaming, Graphics and Bro
Like its predecessor, the 2012 AC Nitro 5 version packs an
Nvidia Geophos GTX 1050 GPU with 4 GB VRAM. It's a very good actor for the

games.
Nitro 5 runs every second in frames 51 frames per second (FPS)
when we ran Rider Rise in a low setting in 1080p resolution - our benchmark for
the budget machine It gives some reassuring padding on top of our 30 fps
threshold for playability. There was no problem playing 1050 less power-hungry
racing games DiRT3. It reached 90 degrees first, which is enough to enjoy some
stock-free drifting.
With Nvidia Geofos Gtyx 1050 GPUs, Nitro 5 can also play
graphics-insertion games for very good actors and low settings.
However, while claiming titles in high resolutions, the graphics
card in nitro 5 does not hold. When we kick in the Metro, the frame rates have
dropped to an unnecessary 21.33 fps: the latest light of 1080p resolution. In
the same level, Hitman played at least 41 fps at the average of budget-gaming
division, but still can not play. Both the Dell G315 and the MSI G62M7 RX have
reached 45 and 46 FPS respectively.

Asher Nitro 5 brings back VR support. When we run the SteveVR
test, it is 3.4, which is both Dell G315 (3.5) and MSI G62M7REX (3.4) but they
were much lower than the average (5.7).
Overall, there was a mixed bag of nitro 5's gaming performance.
You will not get much better at this price, however.
Performance
Acer Nitro 5 did a great job to keep my strict browsing habits.
I was able to load a dozen Google Chrome tabs and see a slowdown without a
Microsoft Word document. One of those webpages was playing 1080p YouTube video,
and the other was running a Battlefield V (Alpha) Twitch stream in the same
resolution.
Nitro has achieved a solid score of 14,219 in the 5 Gaikench 4.1
test, which is not surprising. This is actually the same score as we have seen
more than 100 points from the registration of Dell G315 (14,976) and Asus TUF
Gaming FX504 (12,716). It is slightly more than the entry-level gaming laptop
average (14,291).
During our laptop file transfer test, the extraordinary speed of
Nitro 5 is more interesting, which copies 4.97 GB mixed-media files from a
folder on the computer's hard drive. It takes just 16 seconds to complete, less
than half of the entry-level gaming laptop (41 seconds). This is equivalent to
318 Mbps file transfer rate. To compare, Nitro 5 ASUS TUF Gaming is three times
faster than FX504 (94.5 Mbps)

Nitro speed can not be
accelerated in the Extra Macro or Handbrake Video Editing Test. It takes 1
minute and 20 seconds to complete the exam. It is slower than the budget-gaming
laptop average (1:09) and the Dell G3 15 (0:54). It fared poorly in our hands
Heat
Due to the power required to run modern titles, the heat
management is a big concern for the game, rather than ordinary users. In this
area, nitro 5 does a hard job. However, after running the YouTube video for 15
minutes at 1080 meters below the laptop, it reached 95 degrees Fahrenheit. Spot
94.5 degrees in G and H key. That's pretty nasty, but still below our 95th
Degree Threshold. In 83 degrees, there will be no problem using your touchpad,
even if it is much warmer than the average of 82 degrees.
Webcam
There is no way to keep it light: Axel Nitro 5 is a horrible
1280 x 720 resolution with HDR support. It holds focus and stains out of the
pictures it holds and also contains an unacceptable amount of words under good
negotiation.

To spark a streaming carrier at Twitch, someone wants to buy an
external webcam using this budget gaming laptop.
Software and warranty
Acer software is a standard suite owned by Nitro 5. It has the
Aubiles and Abftoos, multimedia applications that allow you to wirelessly send
content to devices. You will also find services designed to keep your laptop in
Acer Recovery Manager and Acer Care Center, tip-top shape.
A light amount of bloatware added to the preinstalled software
hip. Less offensive applications include Netflix, Mozilla Firefox and
PowerDirector, as well as photo-and-video-editing software. Unleash unwanted
Windows 10 blot like Bubble Witch 3 Saga, Candy Crush Soda Saga and Disney Magic
Kingdoms are free.

Nitro 5 I've reviewed include a 2.3-GHz Intel Core i5-8300H
processor, 8GB dDR 4 RAM and a 256 GB SSD. For gaming, the Nitro 5 game will
play an Nvidia Geophos GTX 1050 GPU with a 4 GB dedicated GDRR 5 VRAM.

At the time of writing, the Nuclear 5 model of Ekatera with
current generation specs suggests. The $ 749.99 base model is a slightly less
powerful Nvidia Geophos GTX 1050 GPU and you will dedicate an SSD for 1TB 7,200

designed for casual gamers who want to play the latest headlines without
