Officials of the Congress Committee of Tripura Province said this today. Congress chief and AICC president Rahul Gandhi will participate in a rally in Tripura on March 20 in the Lok Sabha elections.


Gandhi will be the first Tripura tour after being elected AIIC President!
He recently appointed Priyadote Kishore Debbarman, the leader of the Tripura royal family, as the president of the Congress party, replacing senior party leader and former minister Biraj Singh Singh for reviving the party and encouraging the Congress posts and files.



According to the schedule, to hold a public gathering in Agartala to stop the coming Lok Sabha election campaign, Gandhi will hold separate meetings with the leaders of the Kishore and Tripura Congress Committee.

With the appointment of the new President, the Congress has also improved, and former Chief Minister and current BJP minister of the BJP, Samir Ranjan Barman joined the party and many more will join.




A large number of support for the BJP's electoral partners in the Indigenous Peoples Front of Tripura (IPF) government is now ready to join Congress.

Sahara said that the waves of happiness spread throughout the Tripura hills because indigenous people have now got the real leader and hundreds of tribes are participating in the party session. The Maharaja has joined the rally for the last few days.

Congress party sources said, Rahul Gandhi, has accepted Maharaj's invitation and agreed to give a speech at a rally here to increase the morale of workers and local leaders before the Lok Sabha elections.

At the same rally after Rahul Gandhi's visit, he also spoke to AICC General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi in the state. However, the TPCC leaders have claimed
that the party has already started the process of an electoral process for both the candidates in Tripura considering the popularity, recognition, commitment and win power.

Apart from this, a team of influential tribal leaders, including the BJP, will join Congress soon.

UDPF two-day conference will be inaugurated in the rally, where the former ULFA leader Arvind Rajkhowa plans to join




For the conference, UPAP Tripura Deputy Commissioner Jishan Dev Verma and CPI (M) Lok Sabha, Jiten Chowdhury and Mizoram Chief Minister Jaramanga were invited.
